Your dogs will be lovingly looked after by Miff & Jodie, on our beautiful 35-acre rural retreat in Burringbar, where your dog will be welcomed as part of the family. They will NOT be in kennels, but will instead snuggle right down at home with us, and become part of our pack. They'll spend all day with us and our dogs, enjoying plenty of excercise, running and playing in the paddocks, or swimming in the dam. At night, they'll settle down in the house with us, just like they would at home, and share some cuddles and scratches in front of the TV. It truly is a home away from home!

 

We have been looking after dogs here at the Grateful dog for over 9 years now, and before that, we spent 12 years in London running a successful doggy day care in our own home, whilst also rescuing several neglected dogs from Battersea Dogs Home. Jodie also worked at the Home for several years, during which time she became a fully qualified dog behaviourist. After having a beautiful baby girl born in 2013, we decided it was time to leave the big city, and head back home for a more peaceful and healthy lifestyle. Of course we brought all our dogs with us (who you can see in the picture here) along with our blind rescue cat, Pushkin.
